Daft Punk WIP

So, seeing as how I promised that I would post something to this blog within the next few days.  Here it is.  This is some progress work.

It's a portrait of one of my favorite bands (or in this case, one member of that band):  Daft Punk

Please do keep in mind that I have only recently begun working with digital art and that all of my previous works have been traditional in nature (i.e. Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, ect...)  Please be aware when commenting.

    Okay, I do not have an extensive history of listening to Daft Punk, but the colour detail on the helmet so far is really good. I'm liking the shading with the yellow. Nice work!
