Daft Punk WIP

So, seeing as how I promised that I would post something to this blog within the next few days.  Here it is.  This is some progress work.

It's a portrait of one of my favorite bands (or in this case, one member of that band):  Daft Punk

Daft Punk WIP, Nils Fischer, Corel Painter 11, 3H (so far)

Please do keep in mind that I have only recently begun working with digital art and that all of my previous works have been traditional in nature (i.e. Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, ect...)  Please be aware when commenting.
Thank you, and enjoy

Thank you, And Welcome

As the title suggests, I wanted to wish all who are reading this for taking the time to stop and be one the first to read my very first post as a blogger.

To those of you who are still not aware, my name is Nils Fischer and I am a student at OCAD University majoring in Drawing and Painting.  It is an interesting course and, should the opportunity arise, I would highly recommend taking it.
My end goal is to become a concept artist, I enjoy creating new designs and.... well..... concepts.  It does not matter should I end up working for a company or freelance, so long as I can be recognized for my designs (and hopefully paid for them as well) I would die a happy man.

Over the next few days I should begin posting interesting ideas and process work regrading the creation of my art.
